Gay-ism? 

An Anthropological approach

"Gay" is a word which is becoming more and more common place in everyday language. While listening to the News, playing politics, describing relationships, celebrating marriages, recruiting for the military and even watching advertisements on the internet you will find this word "gay" very frequently. This word was at one time commonly used in the English speaking world but now it is equally familiar in all parts of the world. Still the real meanings of this word are unknown in many parts of the world. Many people in non-Western cultures, when hearing this word for the first time in their life, become curious. They want to know about it. As discussions about sexual relationships are still considered a taboo in many societies, they do not have easy access to real information which could lead them to a clear understanding. Here in this book we are trying to throw light on all the aspects of this word with special reference to the people having diverse ideas about "Gays".
The word "gay" does not simply describe a homosexual relationship but also an entire movement. That's why we are using the word "Gay-ism" to express the meanings in a better way. We think this terminology expresses the latest status of gays in the best way. What is Gay-ism? How and when did it start? What do religions say about it? What is its legal history? What are the pros and cons of this relationship in Medical Science? There are many more other questions which need solid answers which are logical, scientific and proven.
There is no shortage of material on this subject. So the purpose of this exercise is to condense and compile an overview of such material. Moreover, how to reach a conclusion is another problem. Here we are going to address all these concerns by attempting to make an impartial analysis of this controversial subject. So that a reader can have an opportunity to reach on a decision making level easily.
