In the Geo-political scenario of this 21st century it seems just a mythological concept. The only surviving symbol of Muslim unity – Organization of Islamic States (OIC) is being mocked as “Oh! I see”, by Muslims themselves, for its inefficiency.
Conspiracies of Muslim rulers against each other is no more a secret. 50% of the 1.3 billion people of around 50 Muslim states in the world are facing bloodbath due to internal and external aggression. Military giants of the modern world are taking Muslim states one by one at their target to try their newly invented weapons and to achieve multidimensional goals. This exercise doesn’t seem to stop in near future.
Muslim states are being further segregated instead of realizing the threat and pooling together on the platform of Islam. Muslim leadership is being persuaded to pitch against each other not only in diplomacy but also in the battle field. Various terrorist organizations like Al-Qaeda, Daesh, Boko Haram and Taliban are being sponsored to damage the general peaceful image of Islam and to portray it as an extremist and intolerant religion.
Pakistan was continuously facing border aggression from its neighbours and it lost East wing in 1971. The remaining West wing is still facing interference from global players. Pakistani Military accepted this challenge bravely and broke terrorist network working in our land. Still we are not completely safe because of the domestic elements who are supporting the terrorists penetrating from across the borders.
Due to frontline state role of our country in war against terrorism for many decades the loyalties of some people are no more trustworthy. It will take time to gain back these loyalties and purge our society from anti-state elements.
