Oneness of Almighty Allah, Salah, Zakat, Fasting and Hajj are the acts of worship that are believed as the pillars of Islam by Muslims. Non-believers take these as the face of Islam and they recognize Muslims by watching them practice these acts of worship.

Almighty Allah encourages His slaves by announcing enormous rewards for each of these acts of worship. Holy Prophet PBUH presents a role model by practicing these in a divinely guided way. Believers try their best to follow the well demonstrated mode of these acts of worship to attain success in both worlds.

Of course, the real and eternal life will start in Hereafter and the life in this world is temporary. That’s why we are guided towards the eternal aspect of these pillars but ignoring the betterment of this life is also against the teachings of Islam.

Even for the temporary life, Allah Almighty has created a wide-scale system for the benefit of mankind. However, we are supposed to explore the ways to get benefit from these resources. Cultivating crops, digging out minerals, inventing technology, etc. depends upon our effort. The more we make effort the more we get benefit.

Apparently, buying a house is just owning a property but in reality many other bonuses are attached to it. For instance, moving in to live, upgrading social status, feasible investment, etc. Likewise, practicing these acts of worship are basically following the commandments of Allah but there are attached many bonuses for us.

Let’s explore these bonuses that play amazing role to benefit us in this temporary life. Having awareness about these can take our worldly life to a better level and will be helpful in understanding Islam in a scientific manner, In sha Allah. This book is compiled to discuss the philosophy of five pillars in the light of authentic references from Quran and Hadith to elaborate the way of life that is built on them. Better understanding of it is essential for the success of humanity in this world and in Hereafter. May Allah grant us the ability to follow the teachings of Islam with comprehension, Ameen.
