Surah Yusuf is the 12th surah of the Quran. It is pertinent to note that Quran itself declares it the best ever story. One of the reasons behind it, are the lessons that are hidden in every single verse of this surah. Allah Almighty alludes to it in the last verse of this surah.

لَقَدْ كَانَ فِى قَصَصِهِمْ عِبْرَةٌ لِّأُو۟لِى ٱلْأَلْبَٰبِ ۗ مَا كَانَ حَدِيثًا يُفْتَرَىٰ وَلَٰكِن تَصْدِيقَ ٱلَّذِى بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ وَتَفْصِيلَ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ وَهُدًى وَرَحْمَةً لِّقَوْمٍ يُؤْمِنُونَ

There was certainly in their stories a lesson for those of understanding. Never was the Qur'an a narration invented, but a confirmation of what was before it and a detailed explanation of all things and guidance and mercy for a people who believe. Yusuf 12:111

This book has been compiled with the aim to focus on pointing out the major lessons given in each verse of surah Yusuf. It will facilitate the learners to implement the lessons extracted from this story in their practical lives and achieve success in this world and in Hereafter, in sha Allah.
Important events of the story are highlighted by creating sub-headings in accordance with the sequence of events given in Quran. It has made it easy to find a particular event of the story through index.

Short and precise commentary on various verses is there to elaborate the story. In sha Allah, it will help readers to comprehend the story in a better way. Arabic text of each verse is followed by its authentic English translation in italics and underneath it is the lesson derived from a particular verse.
